I have all my tom pads mounted on a quite simple drum frame. I've angled the legs of the frame in such a way that the spikes on the bass legs rest towards the rubber feet of the frame (does this make any sense at all?). Since the entire combo is in a room with wooden floor I've placed vinyl records under the feet so no risk of spike wounds. Same goes for the hihat pedal etc. > Also, included in this rig were the following items ... 2 small remote > control boxes with IMP from Whirlwind Music and a small control that > looks like a bell and has the word SYNTH on it with a standard stereo > cable ... A direct box? http://www.amazon.com/Whirlwind-Imp-Transformer-Direct-Box/dp/B0002DUQ72 If so it's used to make a line signal into an XLR signal in live applications. Good stuff to have around if you're going to gig. Odd though, 'cause the SDS-V can be used without these AFAIK... Is the bell thing complete with electronics or just a trigger? Any possibility to upload a picture somewhere. Sounds interesting. Good with hihat and pedal! :D > Thanks in advance for your help. I hope I did. :) -- electronically yours, jesper - -- --- ---- ----- ---- --- -- - www.electronic-obsession.se
