These days we have different eproms with low power consumtion, they contain the "C" in their name (27C512 instead of 27512 for example). The idea to switch the sounds with an empty slot is genious!!!! The drag about the 2085 card is that you give up Resonance control as that parameter now controls which eprom you're accessing.
