do u just collect em or u buy it to use it as ur 1st kit? my fav drummer was HERWIG MITTEREGGER, he was drummer of german rock band SPLIFF in the early 80s. also another of my heroes NEIL PEART used simmons pads. if u know of anyone selling a kit pls let me know ok. my kit at home is a SONOR kit, with force 3000 toms, and signature snare and bassdrum. chose to set it up manually, cos the bassdrum sound of the signature is bombastic, but the toms of the force 3000 suit me more. snare i bought afterwards, a real snapup, had it for 20 percent of the original price. used pearl snares before, also had a sonor force 2000 snare as replacement when playing live. all the best stefan --- "Paul Maddox (Mail LIsts)" <Paul.Maddox.Mail-list@...> schrieb: --------------------------------- Stefan, > thanks to all for your remarks. tried ebay, unfortunatly lost 2 > auctions there already, and simmons drums dont come very often.
