SDE Manual
2005-05-11 by Steve Ridley
The good news - The full "Creative use of your SDE" manual is scanned, PDFed and ready for you to read and enjoy. The bad news - not enough file space to upload it - and it's only a 1.05M file. Does anyone have a patch sheet or other extra SDE documentation? The "Creative use..." manual refers to some stuff at the back of the manual which doesn't seem to be there - voices and how the controls behave for different types of sound. As these things are now approaching 20 years old, you may find theat you can't store patches. The Nicad backup battery in mine has given up, and I guess others will be the same. I might try modding mine to take a lithium battery, which will be more reliable and less likely to leak - I'll have to remove the charging resistor at least. Someone asked about the input jack on the SDE. I can't find any mention of it in the manual either, but it's a mono jack and any signal stuffed in there appears on the output. I guess it's for mixing in other sources. BTW, has anyone got a schematic for the SDE?
