What does the battery look like and where would it be located? I
dont know how to change it or even where it is. What kind of
battery should I buy to replace it?

Dear Jeff,
try to make an effort...
I can't tell you where it is , as I didn't look at, but it should be
obvious when you open the brain, (the SDS9 one !!!).
TURN IT OFF before opening !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have you never seen a battery ?
The type is written on its surface...
Replace it by the same(!?) or ask the seller the equivalent !
It's not so difficult !
As they say , "just do it" ! Everything will become clear .
BYE.

I opened it up and I could not find any thing that looked like a
regular battery. I want to know what it should look like. The only
battery looking thing was a thing that looked like a watch battery
and I could not get it off. Is there even a battery in there?

IF you can't do it by yourself, go & see an electronic instrument
dealer who does maintain & repairs electro stuff !!!Don't take the
risk to break any fixing part...
You're on, the way !

Thanks guys. Now I only have to find someone to fix it. If this
does not fix it would someone want to buy it? I would sell it for
cheap. Go to ebay and put in this item#: 2523726262 that is my
simmons kit that I bought. He also gave us a rack for it that was
badly beat up. We took it painted it and set it up.
