Help taking apart sds9 pads

Help taking apart sds9 pads

2007-08-04 by jbospunk

Hello all, I would like to disassemble my sds9 pads to switch out some
replacement shells that are a different color. What's the best way to
do this without craking the plastic?

simply stick your finger into the hoöe for the tom arm and push the
shell outside. Once it is lose, take care not to break of the noses
which are supposed to clamp the shell to the rest of the pad.

Yeah, make sure you take your time, don't do it in a hurry or you'll
break off the little clips. Once you have one side popped out then
move onto the next one and then the next etc. etc. Just out of
curiosity, what colour shells do you have?
Matt.

The current shells are black, but they are scrathched up pretty badly, I have some blue shells in pretty decent shape, but the actual triggers on two of the pads do not work. Thanks for the tip.
