Yes, Jesper, I am sure it's like that (I read that book too). And it is the only unit I never had under my hands. So, just a question, don't get a rise in blood pressure: You got some GOOD photos of the inside? I promise to repair it for free, if it will be not working one day ;-)))

The original SDS-I then? And the trigger tube? ;)

Not yet, but I plan to take some soon. I need to bring it out of the rack
anyway to re-arrange the drum section of the racks.

It arrived broken in fact, the (german) seller simply put it in a box
without padding and sent it off so the transformer inside had shaken loose
and bounced around but I managed to fix it, even with the same transformer
and I hope it'll never leave it's place in the studio now...

So, before the question arises again. The price was below 100 euros
including shipping to Sweden. Suck on that! ;)

Hi list!

I finally am a happy owner of the Complete Simmons Drum Book by Bob Henrit.
I've read the history chapter and it feels good indeed to read the few lines
about the SDS-2 and realise that it really must be that very SDS-2 I have in
the studio... :)

From the same seller I got "Electronic Drums" incl. a demo record. Looks
interesting too...

Where's Bob today BTW?

Hi Jesper ,
Last time I saw him (3 years ago) he was involved in some portable acoustic
drums...I can't remember the mark yet ...
& he's still "the kinks" 'drummer ...
Speak soon ,
Patrice.
