The most important thing to worry about is "Mickey Finn" Style. This Mickey Finn could be seen in the 70s together with another guy called Marc Bolan: Some people swear they were musicians, having a famous group called T.Rex, but the only important thing is, that this Mickey Finn must be a grandfather now. Or did he relaunch his "career" somehow and I (luckily...) missed it? :-) I think, most potential customers of this toy don't even know who this Mickey is! And nobody can speak of a style watching Mickey play, sorry. May be the marketing/advertising person is a grandfather too...

Well, any flaws in the memory of those young drummers can be "cured" with
youtube. ;)

BTW, anyone thinking like me, that, the red SDS-V set with hihat and cymbal
cards as well as a Simmons cymbal, was weird it never got above 270 pounds...
OK, there was a reserve, but 270 for a complete set which looked to be in
good nick...

Thanks for this history lesson

I can't see how this would be any worse than the
Simmons (Soundunit) DrmX.

I've posted a photo of a DrmX in the photos section.
For those of you who've never seen one, it was a cheap
plastic tabletop "drum kit" which plugs into the
gameport/midi socket of a PC soundcard. Made under
licence for Simmons/Soundunit in collaboration with
"kits for kids".

(who thought we didn't discuss Guitar Center on this list).
