I've bought at swedish store bejoken.se so I figure most good
electronics shop have. Just bring the part broken and see what they've
got. At mouser you can get most things but you need to search a while in
their extensive catalogue...

Oh, was it that you wanted to avoid?! :)

thanks for the reply
i want to match the pots as well as possible.
the shafts are plastic and would like to match the knob fitting.
on the rear of the pot, there is a small metal tab that protrudes
out and is soldered to the pcb for stability.
i was hoping someone would know the exact or closest pot that will
fit the pcb and the knobs on the shaft.
yes mouser has a bunch of pots and i will recheck tomorrow as i need
to order parts anyway.
i was hoping others had replaced these pots and had a good source or
substitute for them.
the issue is broken shafts and some pots are very dirty noisy and
contact cleaner will not do a sufficient job on these pots.
thanks

I guessed as much. In my case it was two broken pots on two SDS-1's. So
bringing them in is often the best, but if you're "offside" online
shopping is a must I guess. Let's see what the rest of the guys on the
list has to say...
