Guidelines for all new users of the SD2-K and SD7-K drum sets

Guidelines for all new users of the SD2-K and SD7-K drum sets

2008-04-12 by jesper

Hi,

If you own a SD5-K or SD7-K drum set, please read this;

You've been fooled by Guitar Centre who sell cheap China made sets under
the Simmons name. They bought the rights for the name but the products
they offer have nothing to do with the high-end drum equipment produced
during the 70's, 80's and 90's by british firm Simmons.

This mailing list is dedicated to the real thing and noone here is
interested in discussing these cheap excuses for drum sets that GC
offer. If it doesn't work - please return it to GC and demand your money
back. I sure hope your warranty is still valid.

If you're interested in what we talk about and enjoy on this list, feel
free to hang around, join in the discussions and learn about the
legendary drum systems of the past.

(I'll copy parts of this to the welcome mail of the list too, but this
ought to make it easier to find for all googlers and list archive
browsers...)

take care,

Updated the description of the list and changed the short description from;
Simmons Drums Users Group

into;
Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

Is everyone OK with that?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
