Any SDS6 owners out there?

Any SDS6 owners out there?

2008-05-17 by alansbigpocket

It shouldn't be long before I get my newly acquired SDS6 back from
restoration so I'm looking forward to using it with my SDSV.

It's a MIDI-syncable 8 x 32 step sequencer made for the V - I have had
no joy in my search for a video of one in use, but I will hopefully
make one myself for any fellow geeks to enjoy.

Any existing owners out there who can give me their opinions of the 6?

As a former owner, I loved mine. It worked great and was a breeze to program - much easier
than my current setup of having Protools control an MTM. It synced to midi with no problems
and laying out beats in a grid format is ridiculously fast. And, since it was designed
specifically to work with Simmons brains, it was easy to set up and get going. For more info,
go to http://www.simmonsmuseum.com/ and download the manual.
Enjoy the new toy.

i have one
it doesnt work
i am gutted coz i used it for years and love it

one day i decided to put it away in its case
treated it very carefully, didnt move it
but whern i switched it back on it didnt function properly, errors etc

i wanted to try using the nine levels of accent in a cv way to play
little tunes, dunno if it could work

i would love to have it back on board, i had to acquire 4 sds7's in
order to bodge together just one that works perfectly, got loads of
spare cards if anyone wants one for a fair price

love to hear about others sds6 too...
