hmmm interesting...never seen that before...
I'm just looking for some informations about it & will let you know if I find
anything.
does anybody know ? (any SIMMONS GOOOOOD ? sorry ; "private joke" )
Is it a real one ?
Anyway Be careful it might be a fake...
it's for sure not for an SDSV or SDS7 as there is no XLR connection...
& the original pyramid SDSV cymbal pad is well known here.

It looks like a custom one, maybe even a self made one...

don't know we'll see...

But for addicted people, it has something hexagonal anyway ;-)

Before we get any more responses to that - don't go there...

If it's home-made I think it looks very OK. More hard rock flames on
Simmons pads. *giggles* :D

Haley, a member of this group sent me some photos a couple of weeks
ago as well as a part of a catalogue (can't verify it's authenticity).
Even the former Simmons product manager has never seen this so I
assume it has never been built in series and/or sold in a namable
number. I can't exclude that this pad is real Simmons gear. However,
it's incredibly ugly ;-)

Re: [Simmons Drums] sdsv cymbal

2008-06-03 by Haley Johnson

Hi All,
I have one of these cymbals in white and it is a SDS7 cymbal not a SDSV. I was at the Simmons websitethat Isaw that someone had posted a brochure that has these cymbals in Five colors,Red,Yellow,Blue,Black and White. It looks like someone has painted this one too. All I can say is that this is the second one that I have seen so I have to say that it is real deal.

Re: [Simmons Drums] sdsv cymbal

i got a reply from the seller; he says that he made a mistake and it a sds7 custom cymbal with xlr jack/output ... he used it briefly with his sdsv brain, hence the error ... so this is the real deal as stated earlier.
