so...

so...

i don't know much about simmons yet but i have an sds-8 pad and a sds-1000
module. the combination seems to work fine if i plug the pad into any of the tom
ports but if i plug it into the snare it barely works and if i plug it into the bass it
doesn't work at all. can anyone tell me if a specific pad is needed to make the snare
and bass work or is something not working properly? please help if you can.

thank you!

It should work - all pads are identical (within usual manufacturers
tolerances).

Try increasing the sensitivity on the SDS1000 bass and snare inputs -
that might be the problem. Does the channel LED on the front light up
when hitting the pad ?

Phil.

even if i turn the sensitivity all the way up it only
lights up and makes sound if i hit really hard on
snare and not at all on bass. any other ideas?

thanks again.
