Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

This is odd.  This ad clearly shows two SDSV pads (even though they are
referred to as SDS8's) One photo seems to show a 1/4" cable instead of
the XLR. Do you suppose these were modified or was there an option for
this connector?

I'd say they'd been converted but I cannot tell for sure...

No logos on any of the toms either. Probably a quickie spray paint job on the outside of the shells. They sure look beautiful sporting that holiday garnish though !!!

if these came from ebay and were picked up locally here in palm harbor florida..they were mine..maybe he is reselling them?
 
i have no idea nor do i care
 
and i still have one pad left i am using....it is a modified sds-v pad with both xlr and 1/4...also painted cherry red..very well i may add to match my tama superstars...
