OT: Seabro in da houze!

OT: Seabro in da houze!

For those of us into some stylish 80's design that's _not_ hexagonal:

today this appeared on my doostep:
http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/seabro/seabro1.jpg

Oooh, this must've come from a 80's time capsule:
http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/seabro/seabro2.jpg

More shiny objects in the box:
http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/seabro/seabro3.jpg

I've heard worse names in the e-drum business than gig machine:
http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/seabro/seabro4.jpg

If you wreck the pedal you can apparently ask mum for spare parts:
http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/seabro/seabro5.jpg

Shiny, shiny... One of the best looking (the best?) sets from the days
prior to geeky digital sets and nerdy meshheads:
http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/seabro/seabro6.jpg

The pads been hit a lot, but it's just rubber on wood - Simmonsstyle!
http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/seabro/seabro7.jpg

...and last but not least, the BRAIN:

Well, it's a bit scratched etc since the former owner gigged quite a lot
with it. And I can understand why, it must be one of the easiest sets to
put together. Memory locks on everything. *click, click, twist, done*

Thanks!

Looks like a SDS-8 that's been stretched sideways. Not too far from it
soundwise either. It's not SDS-V nor MusicAid power, but certainly
better than expected.

> Where was it built ?

In the UK, but I don't know about the town. It was sold by a shop in
Poole, Dorset though and inside the unit is the serial 1010. I wonder if
they started at 1000? I highly doubt they sold that many. Thomas, have
you found any serial in yours (it's on a sticker inside)?

(I just LOVE when sellers on Ebay upload crappy photos and write two
sentences or so about their old gold.) :D

It's quite basic. Like an SDS-8 or Tam-500. Good, but not amazing. The
amazing part is the styling of the pads. :D

Seabro obviously. :)

The UK.

Nope, looked quite off-the shelf standard stuff when I checked. Cannot
recheck now. I injured my eye the day before yesterday so I wear
sunglasses indoors and only sit by the computer five minutes at a time.
Will return with more info when I can.
