Vintage Simmons Drums (UK) Users Group

i'm really curious to hear the sounds of the sds-v, especially the 
cymbal and hi-hats. are they white noise based? does the v have 
discrete circuits inside or chips like the 8, 800? even a close up 
photo of the controls would be cool to see. does anyone know where i 
can hear a sample of the whole kit?

wow, sounds pretty good on that demo. though i wouldn't be surprised 
if they are compressed and reverbed. is that how the unit sounds in 
person to those of you that own one? sounds like it has tighter 
envelopes than some of the later units. and do the filters have 
resonance control?
