On it, Roland. Have a message into Alternate Mode and am waiting for a response.

Also contacted the original manufacturer. While they fondly remembered making them they no longer have the facilities to make them. :(

I'm also meeting with a local company tomorrow to see about having them replicated.

Cool ! I m pretty sure they use the same material for some of the higher end percussion pads. I think it s neoprene ?!?  - Roland ... From: edrose1@swbell.net

No, not the same material I'm afraid...  but Neoprene could be really interesting actually & having better triggering / bounce properties.
