Hi Roger here , Troffmeister

my sds7 has been in attic for 5 years , i have had the kit new 1 owner from 1984 , just bought the kit back down to set up / incorporate with my yamaha dtxtreme 2s kit

the sds7 battery is porked and all kits gone , tho i did numerically key back in my fave custom kit , the brain works , sounds ok , and it seems to hold the prog so far !

to cut a long story short i need following

1 to pay someone to fix the battery issue as per this article perhaps http://www.electronic-obsession.se/studio/simmons/sds7_battery_replacement.html

OK, a quick tour-kind-of-thing regarding battery
replacement in the Simmons SDS-7... Read it in full before dismantling.

2 my increment wheel on sds7 front needs a service , seems a little loose and stiff but works ?

i can't do these jobs myself , as don;t want to pork the sds7 brain

my kit was mended in past by Dave Simmons in person after factory closed , he was doing repairs in sun lane Hitchin then, i met him , and i have played on huge 12 piece sds7 with angel choir eprom sds1 pad in factory demo room back in 80s in st albans factory

i now live 3 miles approx from factory of old in st albans , which is now Wayside vw car dealership on the site )

so need help fellow simmons dudes please , await your responses

thanks

Roger
