if you use PEEK/POKE there is a 2K 'buffer' available. This is just an educated guess but i'd say that's enough to handle a couple of channels of note-on + velocity (or equivalent) but not a whole lot more. There would need to be a serious 'bouncer' at the input, rejecting everything but the supported MIDI bytes. It wouldn't be luxurious but it's still looks do-able so far

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
