Dave, Those are Windows programs to use the SpeakJet chip. Don't bother with the first two. The latest version 1.3 has a very nice dictionary built-in. You have to build a RS-232 interface to the SpeakJet chip. There are two schematics online for this if you want to experiment. In one of the photos taken at AHMW 2004, you can see my PSIM SpeakJet prototype module. It has a DB-9 connector on it for connecting it directly to my PC so I can use the PhraseALator software. OR... I simply throw a switch and it communicates with my PSIM-1. Also, it is looking like the PSIM SpeakJet module will be the first add-on module once I get all these PSIM-1's built and shipped.
