marketing demographic:

Truth is, there have always been folks who've felt perfectly OK
being single. They used to be called "confirmed bachelors" and
the like, but now that some marketing wizards have got their paws
on a catchy neologism it's now a "movement".

Sell, sell, sell those books! Officially-branded merch can't be
too far off.
