TI SN76477N Chips (New Old Stock) - Limited Quantities Availble For Sale!

2004-06-21 by synthmodules

Hello everyone. I purchased a tube of these chips for a project I
had planned, but no longer have the time to develop. So, my loss is
your gain. The SN76477N is a completely self-contained synthesizer
IC with LFO, VCO, Noise Generator, EG, Amplifier and a Mixer. This
wonderful chip was discontinued many years ago and has become
extremely difficult to find especially in the "N" or wide format
version with 0.1" center pins. Those of you who know what this chip
is know it is the heart of the Blacet Dark Star Chaos module, Thomas
Henry's Super Controller, as well as the sound effects processor in
many vintage video arcade games such as Space Invaders and Vanguard.
Please note that most of these chips you'll find for sale - if you
can find them - are the narrow or "NF" package with pins on .07"
centers since these were the most commonly used package in the arcade
games. These chips I am selling are NOT the narrow chips "NF", but
the "N" or wide-format package that you can easily use on breadboard,
perfboard, or whatever you desire.

I am offering these chips to those of you on the SynthModules list
first. There currently are no published links on ANY of the
SynthModules.com pages to the ordering page for these chips. When
they are gone... they are GONE.

Here it your chance!

Please note: I reserve the right to limit quantities to a maximum of
five (5) chips per buyer or cancel any sales to anyone for any
reason. I am selling these for less than they are currently going
for on eBay and will NOT sell these to anyone intending on reselling
them at a profit. I am selling these to synthesizer DIY enthusiasts
who plan to build something with them and not eBay resellers.

Thank you!
- Brice
