Brice - Well for my part, I've been sitting up late at night with the Atom manual and your programs to get a feel for everything. I've done a lot of programming (taught BASIC and PASCAL at the HS level for years), but working with I/O pins and some of the other aspects of the PSIM are new to me. There's some questions I have about a few programming things; I'm making a list. (for example, why add 16384, 32768, 49### to the 2nd, 3rd and 4th values? Is that to shift them into separate addresses?) Do you have a program for a basic ADSR envelope generator that we could look at? I have some ideas, but I'm curious to see how it might be written by an expert :) I see one use of a PSIM for me to quantitize my fat controller (into some non-western 7 note scale) while also being an EG for my Blacet filter. Seems like it could do both those at once? And to repeat an earlier request, I think the ability to store (or even edit!) and load programs into the PSIM from a Pilot would be killer. I don't know if the Pilot cradle spits out at 115k tho... I hope I'm not too far down the list. I want mine tomorrow! Andrew >>> synthmodules@synthmodules.com 01/31/04 8:35 AM >>> Hello everyone. Okay... now that we've uploaded a bunch of code and sample MP3's... how about some comments, suggestions, questions, etc.? It's been pretty quiet here lately. You can view the code in a text viewer or download the actual programming software from Basic Micro's Web site: http://www.basicmicro.com/downloads/software/BMAtomPro.zip You'll need a Windows based PC to run this. Obviously, you won't be able to actually run the code without a PSIM-1... but that'll come soon. The second batch of three "pre-production" modules are scheduled to ship on or before February 16th. I hope to be taking "Production" orders by this time. You *must* be on the waiting list to get one at this point. If you're not on the list yet, send me an email OFF LIST and I'll get you in line. So, what does everyone think so far? You've got actual photos, code, MP3's... how about some discussion? Best regards, Brice D.
