getting deeper

Hi All,
this is just a short post to let you know that i was waylaid by a virus for a while and this has interrupted my exploration of the PSIM's BASIC.
    One quick note though.
I'm wading into functions that are more abstract than:
 turn-knob=event-happens.
ie knobs that increase probabilities (rather than direct control) and CV input functions that are dependent on other CV's for their modes of response.
Honing this kind of complexity is tough when you have a screen - let alone 6 LED's. The big-picture discovery i've made is that developing in tiny chunks that are EASILY TESTED and then assembling them into larger structures is key to retaining your sanity on this platform.
Modular development is considered good practice in most programming disciplines but its damn near a requirement with the BAsicAtom.
This makes patience more valuable than 'brains' when it comes time to carve your vast software masterpieces.
So far, the BasicAtom has rewarded all of my 'slow & steady' efforts with bulletproof , NON-flaky, consistent performance.
(and punished my quick & dirty efforts)

when i code like a tortoise the BasicAtom tends to run like a hare!
