Re: [SynthModules] Brice's Sequencer (was "New poll for SynthModules")

One other sequencer that deserves to be "imitated" (the sincerest form of flattery!) is the MOTM uSeq. I've spent a lot of time going thru Paul's manual and *almost* went MOTM (instead of Blacet) because of the uSeq. Now the winds have shifted (cue the DSC) and I think the PSIM will be able to do what the uSeq can. Brice, have you thought about an add-on module that holds a couple LED displays (as an ex-Xpander owner I'm partial to the "british flag" design) that could give the user feedback as to the data in the PSIM? (to keep a running list...) ---------------------- - Gate Length - Long sliders - 1/32 1/16 1/8 1/4 1/2 step length knob per step - Skip buttons per step - Pendulum mode (both odd & even) - Start/Stop points anywhere, so you can "trap" the current step pointer between two points; kind of like the old Quix video game :) - Ability to save patterns - Ability to have multiple adjacent patterns play sequentially - Chain mode- plays any/all "lit" patterns sequentially ---------------------- Then, in miscellaneous order, and on top of Andrew's loves, I'd like: - Individual GATE/TRIGGER outs on each step (switchable between GATE & TRIGGER or TRIGGER if I can only have one) - CV controlled internal clock, or external input for clock - Able to run at audio rates - On-board LAG - RANDOM mode - GATE/TRIGGER control of START, STOP, RESET (more later!)
