PSIM-1 Update

PSIM-1 Update

2004-01-01 by bdhornback

We're gettting closer. The first run of PCBs has arrived and they
look AWESOME! The panels should arrive by the end of the week and
I'm also still waiting on a few parts to arrive. Keep watching for
further updates as they become available.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Hi Brice!

Congrats on the progress with the PCBs, etc...!

Just wanted to ask a few questions regarding the type
of computer that I could get by with to use with the
PSIM-1 module.

My background in computers has been PCs for some
business apps (the usual MicroSoft Office suite), Macs
for everything else: Music, Layout, email. Currently
Macs for everything.

If I understand correctly, the application software
that the PSIM-1 will use could be controlled from a
fairly old PC. I guess that I am asking, what are the
minimum system requirements?

I feel like this will be taking a leap into
programming, but after hearing some tapes from the
early 70's of Richard Teitlebaum controlling a Moog
Modular with a couple 2k computers, I think that I
will like the results of your unit with my small but
ever growing modular!

Best Regards,
