Re: [SynthModules] weekly progress updates?

Brice,
How about the PSIM-1 partial kits, for us with a MOTM Stooge panels waiting?
What's the story?
Yes, if you have *anything* to ship, I'll settle for that. Never mind stage
of completion.
Two years have gone since I paid for my kit. I understand the process is
slow etc, but this is ridiculous.
It is up to everyone how they want to conduct their own business.
However in this case we're talking about something that has been *pre paid*.
That changes mode of operandi quite a bit. With monetary exchange you enter
an agreement supported by law! If you have little time to work on this, want
to do a detailed job etc, Great! But then you shouldn't charge up front
money with a promise to deliver before X-mas, two years ago!!!

2006-02-03 by Paul Bower

yes please brice,
just take ten minutes from working my own partial unit to drop us a line
it's been a long time, since we heard anything

please bear in mind that some of us have not only paid for the PSIM
in advance, but also bought a stooge panel, the pots to populate it
and and USB to DB9 converter

cheers

Re: weekly progress updates?

2006-02-27 by mrboningen

it's been over two years now, like some kind of horrible nightmare.
the longer it goes on, the more i realise i'm never likely to see my
PSIM or money ever again. i'm wondering what brice's reply will be if
i ask him for my money back (he doesn't seem to like replying to
personal emails, and has a variety of addresses...) i still have the
paypal receipt and no PSIM... it really has gone way beyond a joke
now. since i ordered my PSIM, i've ordered (and received!!!) over 40
modules from other manufacturers. i'm feeling more numb than anything
else, as the realiaation that i've been taken for a ride sinks in.

absolutely sick of this, and will never buy another module from brice,

gregg.

I wonder if those ever went out, since it's been 3 weeks since that post?

I wonder why there are never any updates -- weekly, monthly,
semi-annually...?

I wonder when those who've paid will run out of patience and start calling
lawyers?

Please pardon my pondering, but I've never seen a situation quite like this.
It's not that I am hoping for something bad to happen to Brice; I'm not. I'm
just *amazed* by the patience of those on the waiting list.

john

P.S. Has anyone reading this actually received a PSIM-1 in, say, the last 6
months?

Re: weekly progress updates?

another telling sign:

on other lists people regularly send messages like: "got my new ****
it's great!", not so on this one, even though brice recently asked for
those who have recieved theirs to speak up.

anyone have any "behind the scenes" info on this?

brice, if you're out there, i don't want a PSIM anymore, i'd rather
have my money back please, asap.

best wishes,

gregg

Yhea I'm still waiting and its been well over 2 years. I've been more then
patient and am starting to loose what little patience is left.
