Re: MOTM-style Sawtooth Animator

2008-05-21 by alisynthmon

I had a bit more of a problem with my MOTM animator than just the
cosmetic issue. My system is all in 19" racks and I use the MOTM rack
rails. When I went to mount animator, I found that the FAT pot was
preventing me fitting it and I had to hacksaw about 8mm out of the
rack rsil. Not finished yet... The mounting holes in the module were
far too small for the MOTM bolts and the centres did not match the
pitch of the rails with the other modules mounted.
This seems like a gross engineering miscalculation to me.

Anyway, after my amateur metalwork adventure was over and I powered
it up, I have to say it is a fantastic sounding module.
