I have been working on a few projects for my pedal modification and circuit bending company DAED. Along the way I decided to make some new modules for my Cyndustries/Modcan A series modular. There are three more coming but I put pictures of the first two here in a folder marked DAED/HWP Custom Modules. I have been jonesing for a good wave processor for a long time and finally decided to roll my own so the first is a dual wave processing module. It contains the Fritz 5Pulsar on the top and the CGS Wave Folder on the bottom. This is an AWESOME sounding creature. For those not familiar with Fritz stuff check out the modules and links on BrideChamber. The flexibility of the 5 Pulsar is pretty amazing. The Gain drives the original signal through the various stages which can be manually turned on or off via the Pulse toggles. This allows you to manually (or via CV with the adjustable Shape CV In)go from one shape to another even skipping some in between in any combination. The CGS wave folder is another cool bang-for-the-buck module which can turn a pretty Sine or Triangle wave into something stunningly not so nice :) The second module is Flight of Harmony's Plague Bearer. This is the stock single module with attenuators for High and Low CV ins and banana and 1/4" in/out jacks for added flexibility. This is a very cool and unique band pass type filter that, again, can be quite raw and impolite especially with the CV ins. Both modules have black anodized 3MM face plates with engraved silver legending. The DAED name is filled in with Fluorescent Orange (the Stock DAED color) and the banana color code is Grey for inputs, White for CV inputs, Orange for audio outputs, Yellow for CV outputs. (Had to get more orange in there somehow :) ) I hope to have some audio demos of this soon. Thanks to FOH and Frtiz/CGS for making their amazing designs adaptable and to Megaohm for kicking me in the butt with his great work and panel suggestions.
