Zeroscillator Price Update

2006-02-11 by Cynthia

Good Morning Everyone!

Ok, I'm drinking my first cup of coffee and whoa -
there a lot of comments in the ol' email here about
the recent Zeroscillator price increase...

After reading all of your comments, yes, I think actually everyone is
correct...

It's been about two months since launch, we've sold (52) Zeroscillators
in total,(forty of those sold in the first thirty-days). All of us at
Cyndustries are delightedat the wonderfully positive response from
everyone, we worked really really hard to earn it. Thank You All!

Forty out of the grand total of fifty-two ZO orders are either in MOTM
or Modcan format, the other format order quantities are
Euro (6), Blacet (3), and Dotcom (3).

Each format requires unique knobs, pots, connectors, & switches,
as well as a panel and two circuit boards specific to that format. In
order to get a fair price we must order this myriad of parts for all
formats in very large quantities, and there is a sort of financial
tipping point where we need a minimum in sales of about (10)
of each format to sell in order to break even on that format.

We still need a few more sales in Euro, but we have over a dozen of
them near ready to ship already. Blacet and Dotcom format customers
could really push things along in happening sooner if they'd place
their orders now instead of waiting. We're so close already!

I've hear people say,"as soon as you start shipping Dotcom format
Zeroscillators, I'll get one"

(This is to us, a bit like 'the egg after the chicken'... when it is
your Dotcom format orders themselves that fuel and propel the
project to completion, so please don't hesitate if you are interested
in ordering a Euro, Blacet or Dotcom format Zeroscillator, go ahead
and order one.

Afterall, our decision to continue supplying more groovy designs in
each of these formats is based upon Zeroscillator sales...

All formats of Zeroscillator use an additional set of four circuit
boards which are the main heart and soul of the circuit.
These A, B, C, and D boards are in stock a plenty, so
~whatever~ format you order - the central part of the Zeroscillators
are built and ready now.

Getting to this point has really been exhilarating like running a NASA
type Moon launch, however the cost was great and we are still paying
our many vendors even during this post Xmas retail slow down.
It was thought that raising the price might be the right solution to
enable the very large circuit board runs that we still need in order
to start shipping the Blacet and Dotcom format Zeroscillators.

Perhaps it was unfair to raise the price so suddenly, so many of you
were saving-up just tomeet ~that~ price and we understand...
and that is why effective immediately:

The price will go back down to the original $650.00 per Zeroscillator
until March 1st.

Step right up and treat yourself
to the most advanced analog oscillator ever,
you ~know~ you deserve it!

We'll even honor the original,
"buy three and save $150.00" offer until March 1st! Hooray!

But the other side of that coin is...
Please people, go-on and order a Zeroscillator or two Today instead of
sitting on the fence. It will truly help lift the entire Modular Community.

Great Thanks and Best Wishes!
