[The_Cyndustries_List] Re: ZO's thru Analogue Haven!

2006-11-02 by Bryan E Cornell

At some point * I believe on this list * Grant Richter (of Wiard fame) said that he had seen the circuit boards for the ZO and, given the number of components, thought that there was no possible way that Cynthia could sell these for $650. His clear implication was that she was taking a loss.

Seemed like an odd post at the time.

I don't post here often, and don't mean to make waves (or mp3's)(lol). But... I just saw the heard jump. Word's like "I bet" and "I'm sure" are fine for individual comments... but many people just scan-thru, and just kinda take everything to heart (unfortunately). Are there any cold, hard, 'documented' facts to back-up those statements? Do you know for sure that Cynthia has signed a non-compete agreement?

Did I miss a post by Cynthia saying the prive is going up, and you can't buy ZO's from me anymore?
Ya see... I doubt that's the case... I could be wrong... but I still doubt it. AH may offer to sell ZO's for $X (or is it that they have a ZO?).... but who would buy a ZO at such a mark-up, when they could just buy one, directly from the maker (with the approriate waiting time)?

Do you expect the added middle-man should provide his service to you
for FREE? Cynthia's costs still remain the same, so AH has to add a
couple hundred dollars on top.

I'm sure AH wouldn't appreciate Cynthia selling her ZO's for $250
less. I bet they made a non-compete agreement so Cynthia has to
raise here price to match AH at $1000.
