Thanks for the 'heads up' and I will have a friend download the 
samples for me to hear and evaluate.
Zakir Hussain and the late Alla Rakha spent many years of their 
sadhana in learning the intricacies of Indian classical talas.
These are not merely a few intricate rythms with Sanskrit names 
attached.
No doubt the many sequencers I see on the AnalogueHaven site could be 
used to create accurate Indian talas,  but for a beginner,  I thought 
it would be a thrill to have preprogrammed voltage controlled rythms 
to use along with bhajans and other devotional songs being played in 
Kirtan.
Sorry to hear of the fate of the Tanpura module but "good things come 
to those who wait"...I'm told.
