Yes, his article seems to be intended for SEAMUS members who are not 
keeping up with modular synth design currently available.
But for me, the most astonishing and jaw-dropping part of that 
newsletter was Mr. Stallmann's report of the ICAD Conference this 
past Summer.
I have tried to prod you to post your thoughts and experiences with 
performance or recording of EM in surround...! So,  you can imagine 
what a thrill it was to read of the live concert by the 
TINTINNABULATE ENSEMBLE at the conference !!  Takes your breath away 
just thinking about it, huh ? :)
