Very sorry to hear of Mr. Strange's passing since he seemed to be very 
active musically even this year !

One of his greatest accomplishments seems to be his legendary book: 
ELECTRONIC MUSIC: SYSTEMS, TECHNIQUES, AND CONTROLS (1983).

How very odd that it has never been reprinted since many who own it 
say that it is well worth the price of $130 USD for a used copy !
Hopefully his recorded music will live on and inspire us all.

i actually have a copy of that book
it is great , written from a buchla 100 perspective
really....
i think it was published originally in 1973
lots of usefull info in there...
