QLPG

My QLPG arrived today. Thank you very much. It is slightl ironic that I
have a date tonight and won't have any time to play with it until the
weekend. I suspect "how would you like to come over my place and play
with my lowpass gate" would not win me over.

Oh, Justin...you might be surprised ? She might be another
Ciani..just waiting to make her first attempts at modular synthesis ?
My QLPG arrived and it seems the UPS driver stole the Owners
Manual... luckily a certain synth genius (CBW)sent me the following
suggestions as to how I could use my few modules to try out this
beauty... hope this will be of help to any other *beginners* :

>YES, you can run the output of the Tabla into the
Low Pass Gates and you can use the red pulse output jacks
to fire the CV Inputs of the Low Pass Gates and you can LOOP
each of the dual ADSR envelopes into LFO mode and they become
VC Oscillators up into the Audio range and you can either
control the Tabla with them
and voltage control a LPG channel or use the Tabla output
to Voltage control the frequency (pitch)
of the Cycling Dual ADSR Oscillator thingies...
Add all the above ingredients into a bowl and stir.

You can make self running patches with this handful of modules,
it is good to see just what you actually can do with the least
number of modules and in the process
you learn unique and heap powerful magic!

i think pretty much anyone is wowed by the patch cables and blinky
lights of a modular system, especially when you set a basic patch up
and let them turn the knobs.

now, getting a date back home to the studio is a different story (but
maybe my future ZOe will do the trick?).
