Cyndustries Update

2006-05-24 by Cynthia

We're shipping Zeroscillators again
and have been shipping a dozen
per day or so since Monday...
Hooray!

MOTM, Modcan, & Euro format Zos
are Shipping Right Now!

If you got one of the very first
Euros that were too tall to fit into
some Euro Racks out there,
then please contact us
as it is time to swap ZOs!

Dotcom format Zeroscillator
front Panels are due in a week
or two and they will ship in a
few weeks still.

Blacet format ZOs are about
to start shipping again Monday!

We continue working on all of
the other different modules,
orders, and special projects,
and are closing-in on completion
of all of our back orders before
the summer vacations start.

My Father's heath is doing ever
so much better, we're so happy!

More Exciting News, A
Surprise is awaiting you in the
form of the latest June Issue of
Electronic Musician Magazine

Speechless...
All I can say is that
my Gratitude to Gino Robair,
Steve Oppenheimer, and
Company - Knows no bounds,
Thank You All So Incredibly Much!

If you don't have a subscription
to the magazine, you'll probably
want to run for the nearest
super duper newsstand and
get one!

Cynthia

ps Richard, your piece is
a wonderfully warm rendition
of those classic FM Drones.
Loved it!

Scroll down to the Shimmering link. This patch includes a Cynthia ZO,
MOTM-440, Encore Frequency Shifter, and two Blacet Time Machines,
flavored with a pinch of Lexicon MPX-1. Among other things I learned
again from this experiment is how special the 440 is.

Yes I just called and they're punching and bending away.
No official delivery date yet, but they're in the works.

Thanks for being patient on these folks, we'll all be ecstatic
when you finally get them!

The is the article brief I see:
"46 COVER STORY: ANALOG RENAISSANCE
Analog modular synthesizers never really went away, but their popularity today is greater than ever before, thanks to their sound quality and playability. An amazing variety of new modules have been introduced in the last five years. We tested 11 of the most interesting new product lines."

Hmm... I just put up a post on Matrixsynth. More exposure is always good, I hope. When I checked the link to Electronic Musician I noticed the "READ THIS ARTICLE NOW" in bold red. : ) Doh. I am blind. Thanks again for taking the time to send the direct link. Now off to read it...

I'm guessing you'll have to wait a while yet. Looks like even the Euro
formats are still in backlog. I'm still checking the mailbox everyday
for my December '05 order...

Looks like my order is not doing too well :-( Any reliable shipping
date for my Euro format Z0?

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for your quick reply. Just have to stay patience..

I was wondering what this means, and how it affects the music community
when buying instruments on the internet:

Euros, Blacets, Modcans, and MOTM format ZOS have shipped

European environmental restrictions of lead and other heavy
metals from use in electronics manufacturing.

I'll try to post every now and then, got a lot on my mind with our
record label.. We release hard acid music, so if there are people here
who make this kind of sound feel free to contact me:)

Hi Bruce,

Welcome to the group!

Euros, Blacets, Modcans, and MOTM format ZOS have shipped
out of here in droves lately as we rush towards the July 1st
European environmental restrictions of lead and other heavy
metals from use in electronics manufacturing.

We've sold (116) Zeroscillators so far, and shipped (94)
with most of the unshipped, being orders in the Dotcom format.
We see a great future together with everyone in the
Synthesizer.com Community and just want to thank you all
and let you know that your orders are being built.
Our delay has been due to the front panel vendors and we
just called them for a progress report.

Today they told us that our Dotcom format panels have all been
cut and punched already with all of the holes, and that they are
going into the plating process in a couple of days. After that they
paint, bake, and silkscreen, and then bend the panels... so finally
great progress is being made, the extra care and expense going
into their creation should guarantee a damn fine match to the look
of actual Synthesizer.com brand panels.

Compared to the Motm format I think you will find the Dotcom
format Zeroscillator more "compact" as it is laid-out as a triple
module wide Dotcom, as opposed to a quad unit wide Motm.
(This way more will fit into those lovely walnut cabinets!)

Also I find the Dotcom flavor graphics slightly more delicate,
or perhaps a bit finer and more precise? Can't wait to hold one,
(yes I ~know~ you do too!!)

We still cannot give a reliable estimate of the actual shipping
date for the Dotcom ZOs however, but thank everyone for their
patience. The moment we get a concrete ship date
of course we'll be most happy to announce it!

Thanks to everyone,
and Bruce, please post more often :)

Our delay has been due to the front panel vendors and we

great progress is being made, the extra care and expense going
into their creation should guarantee a damn fine match to the look
of actual Synthesizer.com brand panels.

We've shipped something like (20) Zeroscillators
in the past three days and we're exhausted!

Please don't ~everyone~ now bombard us with,
"yes, but where is MY order"type questions.

Your order is doing fine.
It and many others are in the air right now
and no there are no tracking numbers on US
Postal Service shipments to Europe.

Please give it about a week, and if you still
haven't gotten your package ~then~ please
contact us (privately) thanks!

I'm a bit concerned about the following:

> metals from use in electronics manufacturing.

The most accurate answer is that we do not know yet
~what~ to expect of the present environmental restrictions
that only just went into effect at the European borders?

What we DO know however is that they are about to
get *INSANE* worldwide starting this January

Seriously, read this!

http://www.sourceESB.com/configurable/article20060713.html

Yikes! (Including our own State of California)

So as we say, "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em right?"
(I personally think it is a conspiracy created by Phillips
as a strategic global trade move :)

Anyway, not to worry as we have a secret plan to smuggle
zeroscillators into Europe in the stomachs of live tigers, so all
you have to do is arrange for the shipping of a few big cats,
their live food of course, and'a...
