AFAIK, S-1000, S-100PB and S-100 KB use the same software,- latest version is 4.40

Here is how to mod (soldering job on the underside of the digital mainboard) a S-1000 /S-1000PB to run w/ 8meg cards.

It´s guaranteed to work,- I diid it myself w/ my S-1000 and S-1000PB.
It´s obsolete w/ a S-1100 which has jumpers/dip-switches already.

There's an 8meg board within the sampler, but when i start the PB it only shows 1Megaword (ie 2 meg?)
