Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

I don't think the 520MB can be avoided. Using removable storage allows for a little more freedom. For instance 1GB jazz drives will still only allow 520MB but you have the ability to change disks on the fly. Those coupled with a scsi CDROM works well too, once you fill up the the Jazz disk , turn the disk into a cd disc image and burn a cdrom.

Hi

Is it possible to put bigger HD in S1000HD? I have OS 4.40 on eproms, 32mb of ram, scsi card, digital interface I/O, etc.

I want to install 2 GB Seagate SCSI HD inside my S1000HD.

Is it possible to re-program 2 other eproms with name "S1000HD LSB" and "S1000HD MSB" inside S1000???

Have You ever tried it this way?
