Hi Peter, thx for the link,- I wasn´t aware of this shop and thy sell inverters,- great !

Yes, replacing the backlight is the 1st choice,- but I´m not sure if it´s the backlight only and after replacing the processor in the D550, there might come up more issues,- who knows (?).

With AKAI samplers, I change the backlight foil always.

Also, is always good to have alternatives,- so the VFD solution for D50/D550 might become important later.
