I wasn't aware of zip discs have a write protect switch. Is it an actual physical switch on the disk, like the write proectect tab on a floppy disk?

I've tried this with multiple disks, same issue.
Why would the device be read only? Did I get a bad zip drive or is the one not compatible with the S1000?
