Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hello, 

so there is only one way to use zip disks on s1100---> only blank disk!!!
Now I understand why they don't work  ;-(( they was full !

there is no hardware write protect on zips
write protection is done only by sotware (on pc and mac)

i heard that akai can only format blank zip disks
if you have disk formatted on pc or mac, akai wont format it

so i'm afraid that you can't format this disk on akai

BUT you can format any zip disk (blank or not) in chicken translator (100%
confirmed)
