Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hi All,
I'm very pleased to be here, because I really need access to some wisdom about the S1100 that I just got.

But I should have some useful tips to offer as well, starting with the 5 SCSI CDROM drives I have incoming to test which ones will work with the 1100.
And the snapped off Toslink connector on my digital board which I'm going to replace with a similar part (with identical specs).

Also own an Akai MPC-4000 and some other bits.
