Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

I just got my S1100 too; I'm encouraged
with so many new users on here.  Should 
be a quick ramp up for us.

Anyone else have an internal HD in their
machine?

Here's my first problem:

I have an internal HD that seems to be 
taking SCSI ID#5.  I think the S1100 is
at SCSI#6 (or vice-versa).  I was trying
to connect a SCSI Zip drive but it will 
only work at SCSI #5 or #6.  

I'm afraid that if I change any S1100 
SCSI settings, the internal HD will not
be recognized (or the data will be lost!).

Any recommendations?
