Pete, Welcome to the group. There is a program which you can use to export wav files to the akai, using a midi cable. It is wav_akai. Look in the links (links/tools) section of this site. There is also a link to an article about replacing the floppy. (links /technical). Please do a search in the archive - another member tried it before - I remember it was difficult to get the right floppy. We're trying to start a small contest. You're invited to participate. It may be a nice way of exploring your new sampler!
