Does the S1100 actually have a digital out or is it only for sampling duties?I considered fixing a XLR to RCA cable in order to connect the unit straight to a RME audio interface with spdif in but it's not gonna work is it?

I have the AES/EBU card and the standard digital out. Is this possible?If yes it's going to be 2 channels or no?
