Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

hey

i turn on my s1000 after a long time and it doesn't work anymore (it  
was perfect)

i heard a "click" inside and some burnt smell...
is something common to repair, a "classic" fault after a long time  
servicing, or not?
atm is just on with the blue screen doing some artifcat but nothing  
works
