Subject: [akaiS1000S1100Samplers] CD ROM WRITERS, RW for s1000 s1100 ???

How should this work?
There are no routines for burning CDs in the OS of the S- series samplers!!!

>btw, my cdrw is a 6x4x16 from 1999, do you think it's old enough?

This is unimportant.
If you want to burn your S-1xxx library on CDs,-
1st you have to store everything on SCSI hard- or removable-media-drives.
2nd you have to import the data on this media into a computer equipped w/ SCSI interface(card)...
3rd you must have a program which´s able to read and write data in AKAI S-1xxx format and at least this program must be able to burn CDs in Akai CD-ROM format if you want to use the data on CD in your S-1xxx sampler later again and/or if you want to import your programs and samples w/ all loops etc.into your software-sampler(s) like Kontakt, Halion or similar devices.
Akai CD-ROM format is striktly recommended as a startpoint for converting into other formats if you want to avoid reconstruction of your programs completely.
