Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

I have today recieved this message from Cimple Solutions who Akai 
recommended who could possibly fix it:-

This would not be economical to repair.

Yes we have heard of this problem, it probably needs a new 
interpolator which is no longer available unless you can rip one out 
of another machine. This would be the first thing to check but may 
not solve the problem.

Can anyone help? .... PLEASE!!
