Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

Hi!!!!! 

I've just joined this group and it's fantastic.

My problem it's that I want to make my own cd samples to my S1100, but 
the software that I use doesn't work like I expected.

I use Translator pro to make an akai image (*.img) but it can only 
create main structure (partitions A-M and groups) without any sample.

Are there another program to make akai cd's? 

Another question: format sample from Akai S1100 is the *.s files aren't 
they? 

Could be good to connect my S1100 to a pc with an SCSI interface? I've 
got an hard disc and a cd rom (an old Plextor) connected to the samplet 
via SCSI
