Akai S1000 / S1100 samplers

There's a synthesizer wave disk from AKAI that is excellent called "Sample
Wave Mixing." I'd encourage you to track a copy of that down and reverse
engineer what they do in that disk.

It's fantastic.

whats up audiophiles? Long time akai user and lover. Just recently got an
s1000. I was wondering if anybody out there is using it as a synth, and how?
Or what the best uses are for it? I bought it because I got it for $80 with
8 megs and scsi. Now I want to get a feeling on how the people out there are
using it. I know its a work horse.
